Namibia is a popular and sought
after tourists’ destination with a whole
range of places to go and things to see.
Some of these places are breathtakingly
beautiful. No trip should be undertaken
without a visit to the Etosha
National Park and also a visit to
Damaraland. (See also the brochure
for the Etosha National Park) The
Etosha National Park is a big
favourite with tourists in general and
with a two-day trip through the Pan you
are guaranteed to see a very large
variety of game including some of the
Big Five. Elephant and
Lions are seen regularly, the
Black Rhino and Leopard are a
bit more difficult to spot as they steer
clear of traffic and humans in general.
Giraffe, Oryx, Impala, Springbok,
Zebra, Blue Wildebeest and many more
are plentiful. This area also caters for
the serious bird watcher as a large
variety of birds do occur here
naturally. We offer a seven-day trip
with one night spent on the way to the
Pan at the Waterberg Plateau Park,
two days in the pan and four nights in
the Damaraland region.
Damaraland offers areas of
exceptional panoramic beauty. This is
also the home of the largest population
Black Rhino in the wild. The
famous Desert Elephants are seen
here and are plentiful.
We offer two options for
accommodation:
- Camping for the whole duration
of the tour.
- Lodge accommodation for the
whole duration of the tour.
We specialize in off road safaris
and have twenty years experience of the
area. We are of the opinion that with
true off road trips one sees more of the
area and the wild life. This is also
very exclusive as very few people do use
these beaten tracks. You will definitely
see things the regular tourist won’t
see. The scenery in Damaraland is
of exceptional beauty and is a
photographer’s dream. We will visit the
Burned Mountain, the Petrified
Forest near Khorixas, the
prehistoric rock engravings at
Twyfelfontein, and the Desert
Elephant in the Huab and
Ugab River. If you are looking for a
real wild African bush safari adventure,
this is the trip you should consider. We
cater for everything and carries
everything we need for the trip with us
including camping gear, food and drink
and medical supplies. We will pick you
up at the Hosea Kotako Airport
outside Windhoek and will drop you off
there again at the end of the trip. All
you need to bring with you are your
clothes and personal things you might
need on such a trip. We cater for all
the rest. |
